Restaurant Spotlight: Ramen Musashi

Welcome back to our Restaurant Spotlight series!
I recently had a great lunch at Ramen Musashi in Ardsley, New York, and wanted to highlight how their menu and staff helped me feel comfortable ordering.
Ramen Musashi is a Japanese ramen restaurant that also offers a supermarket section with an assortment of Japanese snacks. You can learn more about the restaurant on their website.

When I ordered, I immediately noticed the allergen labeling on their menu, which automatically made me feel more comfortable.

I am personally allergic to tree nuts, crab, and lobster. By labeling dishes containing shellfish with an asterisk, they helped me determine which dish I should order. I also appreciated the detailed descriptions, which listed ingredients such as scallions and mushrooms.
Moreover, when I spoke to the counter server, she personally reassured me that the dish I was getting, the Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen, was safe from my allergens. The menu information and our conversation helped me feel much more comfortable with my order.
I really loved my ramen and would highly recommend it.

Closing Invitation
If you know of other Westchester restaurants that deserve to be recognized for how they handle food allergens, please let me know! We’d love to feature them.
Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you next time!
